Enable ENA file contains source phrases and related translations. You can reuse both source phrases and translations among different projects.
To create a Repository:
a) create an XML or Excel file containing all translations (use the Export function, only global context, all languages)
b) open the file, and empty the ID column (don’t delete it!)
When you need to reuse translations:
a) Import from the Repository file (use the Import function), but make sure the “Create new phrases” checkbox is not ticked!
b) Every time an existing phrase is found, related translations (only for selected languages) will be reused
When you need to import existing phrases and translations (useful for common parts, like framework libraries, or even for existing translations when migrating from another localization solution):
a) Import from the Repository file (use the Import function), but make sure the “Create new phrases” checkbox is ticked!
b) Every time an existing phrase is found, related translations (only for selected languages) will be reused
c) If a source phrase in the repository doesn’t exist in your database file, a new phrase will be defined (with all related translations)
